Nurturing Inclusive Community Environment (NICE) Program is a collaboration between East Ramapo School District, Creative Response to Conflict (a local non-profit) and We Oppose Violence Everywhere Now (a non-profit). “NICE Staff” work in the two district high schools implementing community-building circles and conflict resolution practices. The NICE staff members include certified teachers, school counselors, social workers, and mediators who work to help build a positive learning environment. Among the staff are native Spanish and Creole speakers.
